The Arts Are Back at North Florida College
North Florida College is bringing the performing arts back to the Van H. Priest Auditorium
with Sentinel Stage, a newly reimagined performing arts series designed to bring exceptional live performances
to NFC and the surrounding communities.
Sentinel Stage builds on NFC’s long tradition of making the arts accessible to the region while introducing a fresh lineup of music, theatre and other live performances. The series will welcome talented artists to the Van H. Priest Auditorium and create opportunities for students, families and community members to experience the arts close to home.
The inaugural Sentinel Stage performance will take place Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. and feature the Valdosta State University Presidential Brass Quintet and Chamber Singers. To celebrate the return of performing arts programming to NFC, admission to the opening performance will be free, with limited seating available.
More than a new name, Sentinel Stage represents a renewed commitment to the role the arts play in connecting people, enriching communities and creating shared experiences.

Annie Jr. by Sentinel Upstage Players
Annie Jr.Based on the popular comic strip and adapted from the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, with a beloved book and score by Tony Award winners, Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, Annie JR. features everyone’s favorite little redhead in her very first adventure.
With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's
hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Annie is determined
to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run
by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations,
finding a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary,
Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

Featuring Broadway-inspired performances paired with a dinner theatre experience, the event brings students and the community together for a night celebrating music, theatre and the performing arts.

Buffett after he hired them on the spot following a surprise Key West performance,

authentic tropical rock shows, they have performed at Margaritaville, Disney World,
with The Beach Boys, and much more.
