Welcome High School Seniors
The NFC Foundation offers many scholarships to High School Seniors planning to attend North Florida College. If you are a public school, private school, or homeschool senior with a 2.0 GPA or higher, you may qualify for an NFC Foundation Scholarship.
Before You Apply
Complete the NFC Admission Application
File the 2024-2025 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by February; NFC's code on the FAFSA is 001508 (Please note: The FAFSA may take up to 3 weeks to process online).

Application Instructions
The NFC Foundation Scholarship application cannot save your progress. Before beginning the scholarship application, please collect the following items that will be required for upload at the end of the application:
The cover letter should explain why you are a good candidate and how you would benefit from receiving a scholarship. The letter cannot be more than one year old. Examples: https://m.wikihow.com/Write-a-Cover-Letter
Two letters of recommendation. These may be written by anyone other than immediate family members. The letters cannot be more than one year old.
A copy of your high school transcript or GED certification. Please contact your high school guidance counselor if you need assistance collecting a copy of your transcript. We understand that this transcript will be "in-progress" and not complete since you have not yet graduated.
Some scholarships require essays. If you would like to be considered for one of these scholarships, please click on the list of Scholarships Requiring Essays to review the criteria. There is an optional upload field at the end of the scholarship application where you may submit up to 3 essays.
Completing one, online application allows you to be considered for all scholarships available at the NFC Foundation. The NFC Foundation uses the information provided on your application to determine any scholarships for which you are eligible. You may review the scholarships available to High School Seniors in the "Helpful Links" section at the top of this page to determine any specific information you would like to include for consideration on your application.
