The Federal College Work-Study Program (FCWSP) is a federally funded employment program that helps eligible students earn money to pay for educational expenses through part-time work on the North Florida College campus.
Program Highlights
- Work Hours: Qualifying students may work up to 15 hours per week, based on available funding
- Eligibility Requirements:
- Must have a minimum 2.0 GPA
- Must maintain a 67% course completion rate
- Must be Pell Grant eligible
- Must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Qualifications:
· Child Development Associate (CDA) or state equivalency

The Suwannee River Water Management Dsitrict is currently hiring for a Fiscal Assistant or Finance Specialist in Live Oak, Fl.
We are currently seeking a candidate to fill an entry level finaince office position.
The Fiscal Assistant performs accounts payable processing and cash receipt functions for the Finance Office, providing administrative support while ensuring accurate financial records, internal controls, and responsive service to staff, vendors, and the public.
The Finance Specialist maintains all aspects of the Accounts Payable and Cash Management functions and will assist with Payroll functions. This position requires a high level of expertise in tax reporting, banking, and other financial administration function for the Finance Office.
Job Duties Include:
The Fiscal Assistant will perform some of the following duties within all functional areas of the Finance Office as listed below. Specific tasks will be assigned in a manner that maintains separation of duties and internal controls.

Fiscal Assistant -
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in accounting or business administration preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of clerical, banking, and/or accounts payable experience.
- College Education can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required work experience.
- Valid drivers’ license.
Finance Specialist -
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or related field.
- Professional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
- Minimum of three (3) years of accounting experience with an emphasis in accounts payable and cash management.
- Payroll and tax reporting experience preferred.
- Valid drivers’ license.
